Riding upon the prosperous development of the Mainland's economy and out of the commitment to the Mainland market, Chen Hsong decided in 1997 to develop the 560,000-square meter Chen Hsong Industrial Park in Shenzhen Longgang Grand Industrial Zone as the Group's production and R&D flagship. Following the completion of the first phase of development in 2000 with 120,000 square meters of production and staff facilities available, the entire production in Hong Kong was relocated to the Industrial Park. The land area of Phase II is more than 100,000sqm. The Phase II project was put into operation in 2004. The Industrial Park turns around an average of 1000 injection moulding machines per month for both Mainland and overseas customers.
Chen Hsong Industrial Park produces full range of plastic machinery and associated products including injection moulding machine, PET preform system, robot, ductile iron casting, and precision mould. On top of the world-class production operations, the Industrial Park is also an R&D, sales and service center of the Group.
There are around 1,500 staff members of different nationalities working in the shop floor, office and the R&D team in the Industrial Park, creating a unique mix of global talents.
