Holding pressure function between the injection screw and nozzle tip is performed by a specially designed shut-off-nozzle which allows the CHEN-PET system to plasticise simultaneously, reducing cycle time by more than 30%.

Robot and Pin Conveyor
0.4 seconds take-out time.

Second stage cooling device on the robotic take-out plate with individual cooling tubes and circuits significantly reduces cycle time by 5-10 seconds.
Final Stage cooling is performed on the pin conveyor. Preforms are ejected from the robotic take-out plate onto an air-cooled conveyor. The long pins hold PET performs vertically and away from each other until they are cooled down to room temperature. Final performs are scratch-free and intact.
Valve-gated Balanced Hot-runner Mould
Mould inserts are interchangeable for ultimate production flexibility and easy maintenance. The CHEN-PET mould base accepts individually changeable inserts for different sizes of performs, enabling production optimization and cost-efficiency at all times.
All mould plates are guided with supporting columns and attached to tie bars, allowing them to be separated form the mould base for easy maintenance without taking out the mould. Risk of damage is minimized.

The entire system operates under a temperature-controlled environment below 5oC, optimal for high-speed preform injection moulding.
A compact water manifold diverts cooling water evenly and efficiency to every cavity. A centralized connection on the water manifold minimizes overall setup time.
All moving parts are equipped with high-end hardened copper alloy wear plates and guide rails. Oil-free self-lubricating design keeps the system free from grease contamination.
